Mortville Manor (Remake) (unreleased)
A downloadable game
Mortville Manor is an adventure puzzle game starring Jerome Lange, a famous detective, and is the prequel to Maupiti Island, both games from the Jerome Lange series.
Mortville Manor takes place in February of 1951. As private detective Jérôme Lange, you are sent a telegram by Julia Defranck, a childhood friend. In it, she informs you that she is very ill and in grave danger. She urges you to join her in her mansion and advises discretion. Once there, you learn she has passed away.
You then must solve two mysteries: Julia's death and Muriel her best friend who went missing. During the case you'll find yourself also trying to figuring out some side-quests.
This remake is has complete redesign and retranslation, giving it a much more user-friendly gameplay experience compared to the original Atari ST, Amiga and MS-DOS versions.
The game can be played in 3 different original palettes: Amiga, Atari ST and DOS (EGA) and while playing you can switch between the 3 palettes at any time.
It features the sounds FX taken from the original Amiga version.
This game is currently in development and about 90% finished. It will be released as freeware for Windows and Linux.
